What we liked
- + At 3.5 inches thick it is built to slide under a sofa or bed, which matters most in a small apartment.
- + Brushless motor listed under 45 dB, with 8 shock absorbers and silicone cushions to soften footfall.
- + Self-lubricating belt, so the listing says no manual belt oiling is needed, plus an LED display and app tracking.
Trade-offs
- - The 15 x 37 inch belt is on the short side, and the 3.7 mph top speed limits it to walking.
- - Incline is set by hand, not motorized, and it costs more than the cheapest flat pads in this guide.
