What we liked
- + 16 levels of magnetic resistance let beginners and experienced rowers adjust difficulty with a knob.
- + The magnetic engine with a 12 lb flywheel is described as silent, which suits shared walls and upstairs units.
- + Dual slide rail, Bluetooth app compatibility and an LCD monitor show rowing metrics, with a 360 lb capacity.
Trade-offs
- - A magnetic rower has no water or air feel, so the stroke is less natural than on a water or air machine.
- - A full rail rower is long even when stored, so measure your space before buying.
