What we liked
- + A twist of the dials changes the load from 5 to 52.5 lb per dumbbell, with no plates or collars to handle.
- + One pair replaces 15 sets of weights, the main reason to choose adjustable dumbbells for a small room.
- + Reinforced with metal plates and a locking system, with an ergonomic non-slip handle and storage trays.
Trade-offs
- - Sold as a pair at a premium price, well above the single-dumbbell and spin-lock options in this guide.
- - Tops out at 52.5 lb per hand, so strong lifters may outgrow it on rows and presses.
